The drop-in networking session saw a steady flow of local business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, and the Mayor of Havering attending throughout the event, creating a relaxed yet productive environment focused on building connections and supporting local enterprise.

Business Buzz events are known for their informal format, allowing attendees to arrive at a time that suits them, make connections at their own pace and avoid the pressure often associated with more traditional networking events. The concept continues to attract a wide range of industries, from start-ups to established businesses.

Yesterday’s event also marked the first session held at the group’s new venue, Spark by Hilton, offering a fresh and modern setting for the growing Business Buzz community. The Mayor of Havering attended the event and spoke with business owners, demonstrating her commitment to championing local business.

The move represents a new chapter for the networking group, which has built a strong local following thanks to its accessible and welcoming approach.

Attendees were encouraged to bring business cards, a positive attitude and a willingness to connect, with no membership lock-ins and no requirement to commit to future events.

Business Buzz operates on a simple drop-in model, making it easy for people to attend whether they are new to networking or regular participants looking to expand their contacts.

The meetings are on the 3rd Wednesday of every month between 10am – 12pm. So if you are a local business owner, drop in and say hello at the next event.
