Caught Red-Handed: Class A Drugs Seized at Known Hotspot in Romford.
22-Year-Old Arrested After Cocaine Bust.
On Saturday, 7 March, officers on Night Time Economy patrols in Romford made a significant seizure at a known drug dealing hotspot.
The Romford Town Centre Team spotted a suspicious parked car and carried out a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Officers recovered multiple phones, cash, and 20 snap bags of Class A drugs, later confirmed as cocaine.
A 22-year-old man was arrested for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He has been charged and now awaits a Crown Court date.
This operation highlights the commitment of the Romford Town Centre Team to keeping the streets safe and tackling the supply of illegal drugs in the area.
