Havering Now Has Official Reform UK Councillors in the Town Hall
Havering now has an official group of Reform UK councillors at the Town Hall following the defection of two former Conservative councillors. Christine Vickery and Robert Benham have joined the party, bringing the total number of Havering Reform councillors to three alongside Councillor and Keith Prince.
Councillor Prince, who is also a member of the Greater London Assembly, has been appointed the new Chairman of Havering Reform. On Monday, Councillors Vickery and Benham joined Nigel Farage outside the Town Hall in Romford to officially announce their defection.
Speaking about the new team, Keith Prince said that the additions strengthen the presence of Reform UK in Havering and provide a clear alternative for local residents. He emphasised that the party will focus on local issues and hold the council to account, signalling a more active role for the new group in borough politics.
