Golden Garage set to bring UK garage legends to Upminster

Upminster is set for a major dose of UK garage nostalgia and energy this spring, as Golden Garage arrives at The Golden Crane on Saturday 28 March 2026 for an all-day celebration of one of Britain’s most influential music scenes.

Running from 3pm to 10pm, the event promises a packed line-up of artists who helped shape UK garage, alongside performers who continue to keep the sound alive for new generations. The Golden Crane, a well-known Upminster venue, will host the daytime-to-evening event, giving local music fans the chance to enjoy a full programme without travelling into central London.

Headlining the event is MC Vapour, joined by Scott Garcia, one of the most recognisable names in UK garage and a long-standing Kiss and Kisstory favourite. Also appearing are Sean T, Genius Cru and live PA performances from Special MC performing Joy, Shelly Nelson performing Something in Your Eyes, 3 of a Kind performing Babycakes, and Jade Magic performing Magic.

Support on the day comes from DJs Kruze, Stealth, Slim Bubba and DJ Ash, with hosting duties shared by Mostallion and Mo Charmer, ensuring the atmosphere stays high from start to finish.

For Havering residents, the event is a rare opportunity to see nationally recognised garage artists performing locally, reflecting the borough’s growing reputation for hosting quality live music events. Organisers say the aim is to bring together long-time garage fans and newer listeners in a relaxed daytime setting, making it accessible to a wider audience.

UK garage has deep roots in London and Essex club culture, and events like Golden Garage highlight the ongoing appetite for the genre decades after its peak chart success. With several of the performers responsible for tracks that still fill dancefloors today, the Upminster date is expected to attract fans from across Havering and beyond.
