Quick Police Action Leads to Arrests in Hornchurch Courier Robbery

On Saturday, 24 January, police received reports of a courier robbery on Harwood Avenue, Hornchurch.

Officers attended the location and began conducting an area search for the car and two men involved in the incident.

During the search, an officer came across the vehicle linked to the robbery. The car was safely stopped and the men were detained.

Two men in their 40s were arrested and the stolen parcels and packages were recovered.

Both men were charged and attended court on Monday, 26 January, where they were remanded on conditional bail until their hearing at Crown Court in February.
