Work is continuing at the Gallows Corner junction, with contractors progressing through the next phase of improvement works aimed at easing congestion and improving traffic flow at one of Havering’s busiest road networks. The project, which has caused significant disruption for motorists in recent months, remains a key priority due to the junction’s importance for travel across Havering and neighbouring boroughs.

Lane management, road layout changes and infrastructure works are ongoing, with traffic restrictions still in place while the scheme moves forward. Residents and drivers are being advised to allow extra time for journeys and to follow temporary signage while works continue.
