Romford Street Transformed! Dazzling Christmas Lights Leave Crowds Stunned.
Residents living near Crow Lane came out in full force yesterday to support Emma from Byton Close, who has transformed her home into a magical Christmas wonderland to raise money for Romford SMILE. Her spectacular display, made up of thousands of sparkling lights, lit up the whole street and brought the community together in true festive style.

The atmosphere was nothing short of enchanting. Families gathered with hot chocolate in hand, festive music filled the air, a cheerful burger van added to the Christmas cheer and excited children waited eagerly for the big switch-on. Emma, dressed head-to-toe in her Santa outfit, pulled out all the stops to make sure everyone enjoyed a night to remember.
The street was buzzing with Christmas spirit as neighbours, friends and visitors cheered Emma on for her incredible effort, not only brightening up the community but doing it all for a fantastic local cause.
Special guests also joined the celebrations, including Member of Parliament for Romford Andrew Rosindell, alongside local councillors Viddy Persaud and Tim Ryan.

Mr Rosindell told The Havering Daily:
“A big thank you to Emma Shields and the residents of Byton Close, Crow Lane for inviting me to switch on the Christmas lights tonight at their wonderful fundraising event for local children’s charity, SMILE!
Fabulous to join local people in celebrating the start of Christmas, along with my hardworking Rush Green and Crowlands Conservative Action Team, Cllr. Viddy Persaud, Cllr. Tim Ryan and Abul Hussain and neighbours from around the area, all sharing in the festive spirit of Christmas!”
A huge well done to Emma for creating such a heart-warming display and raising funds for SMILE Essex. Her lights are already becoming a must-see stop for families this Christmas.
