Hundreds Of Firefighters Tackle Blaze In Rainham Flats.

Ten fire engines and around 100 firefighters were called to the flat fire on Broadis Way in Rainham, just before 6am this morning.

Firefighters tackled a fire at a five storey block of flats where two flats on the third and fourth floors and part of the roof were damaged by the fire. No injuries have been reported. 

The Brigade’s Control Room was called at 05:45 and mobilised fire crews from Dagenham, Tottenham, Wennington and other surrounding fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 07:28.

Well done to our firefighters for their incredible work once again.
