Police Appeal for Witness After Serious Assault on 16-Year-Old Boy in Hainault.
Police are appealing for a key witness to come forward following a serious assault on a 16-year-old boy in Hainault.
At around 19:20hrs on Wednesday, 8 October, the teenager was attacked by a group of five boys near a bus stop on Fencepiece Road, Hainault (IG6).
A member of the public who was out jogging intervened and helped escort the victim home. The boy was later taken to hospital, where his injuries were confirmed as non-life threatening and non-life changing.
At this stage, no arrests have been made.
Detectives are appealing directly to the jogger who stepped in to come forward and assist officers with their enquiries.
