Car Smashes Into Kitchen Cafe In Rainham

A car has crashed into the the kitchen of the Ship Cafe in Rainham, just after 10 am this morning, fortunately not leaving anyone injured but left shaken and bruised.
A post from the Parish of Rainham and Wennington released a post on social media stating that

“As you may have heard there was an accident in The Ship this morning 1 October when a car drove into the kitchen.

Praise be to God that no one was seriously injured-only scrapes and bruises, including the driver.

The Ship will be closed for the foreseeable future but we will be opening the church on Friday from 10-2 and serve tea and cake.”
