Lumiere Romford Unveils The Ultimate Horror Pass To See 100 Landmark Films, Including Classics Like The Exorcist and The Shining, At Unbeatable Value to celebrate the Halloween month in style.

Lumiere Romford is thrilled to announce the launch of the ‘100 Greatest Horrors’ Pass, the single best value ticket for serious horror fans across the UK. This unprecedented cinematic event screens 100 films certified as the genre’s best, with the list scientifically locked in by their official IMDb user scores as of September 15th.

The top 100 movies is always moving, so the cinema picked a cut off date to enable them to have enough time to book all of the films that are screening during the month, hence the 15th

Customers can enjoy the Halloween month in style from 1st to the 31st of October with 5-7 horror movies each day.

This isn’t just a list of staff favourites, it’s the top 100 horror films as judged by millions of viewers worldwide.

The ‘100 Greatest Horrors’ Pass is designed to reward dedicated horror fans with truly exceptional savings. While standard cinema tickets can be costly, Lumiere Romford’s cooperative model means access to all 100 must-see films becomes incredibly affordable for members.

The pass grants access to the entire curated series, promising a complete, month-long journey through horror history. While customers can buy tickets for £6.99for non members or £4 for members, For those who purchase the pass and hold a Lumiere Membership, the effective cost per film drops to an incredible price point, transforming what would be hundreds of pounds in standard tickets into the most budget-friendly cinematic experience in the country. Those with enough time on their hands can purchase a month pass for the 100 Greatest Horrors and see as many as they can for just £100 for non members and £75 for members, with each film showing twice throughout the month there’s a very real chance for the pass holders to see each film for just 75p. Every film has been validated by public consensus on IMDb, ensuring the highest quality of terror and thrills. This is not a list of filler movies, the voting started the minute IMDb started allowing the public to vote for films all the way back in 1990, meaning the list truly transcends the boundaries of time showing super retro versions of the Dracula story going back to the 1920’s as well as the 2020’s.

“Many of the films we are screening are showing elsewhere in London for around £15 a ticket, we wanted to create something that customers can drop in and out of when they please and not feel financially obligated to spend the whole time in the cinema, people can travel in to the town from Essex or the city and pop out to eat in the town’s restaurants, visit our pubs, coffee shops and do a bit of retail therapy if they wish” said Peter Blunden from Romford FilmTrust the charity that runs the cinema.

The series spans decades, covering everything from psychological terror to slasher classics, all cemented by their high IMDb rating. Fans can expect to see landmark titles that have defined the genre, including high-ranking masterpieces such as:

• The Shining (1980)

• Alien (1979)

• The Exorcist (1973)

• The Thing (1982)

• Psycho (1960)

• Rosemary’s Baby (1968)

“This series is a celebration of horror cinema, and we wanted to make it accessible to everyone,” said Peter. “The pass represents our commitment to great value. It’s simple: buy the pass and see the 100 greatest horrors ever made for an unbeatable price. It’s a no-brainer for any horror lover.”

The ‘100 Greatest Horrors’ Pass is available now. You can book the pass on the Lumiere website or purchase at the cinema and lock in a month of terror.

For those that can only make weekends, audiences can buy a weekend pass each weekend for £25 for non members or £17.50 for members. They purchase this at the cinema itself.
