Sleeping Beauty Comes to Harold Hill With The Pantomime of Your Dreams

The Habbit Factory is back with its spectacular Christmas pantomime and this year promises to be bigger, brighter, and more magical than ever!

The Havering-based charity is thrilled to announce Sleeping Beauty, taking place at the Myplace Centre, Harold Hill, from 19–21 December 2025.

Following ★★★★★ reviews and sold-out performances of Dick Whittington in 2024, this year’s show will once again bring together a huge cast of professionals, local volunteers, and over 100 local children and young people.

What to Expect

Packed with comedy chaos, larger-than-life characters and enough sparkle to light up all of Havering, Sleeping Beauty – The Pantomime of Your Dreams promises festive fun for the whole family.

As always, every show will be a relaxed performance, ensuring everyone can enjoy the magic of theatre in a welcoming and accessible environment.

The story follows Princess Aurora, who falls into a deep enchanted sleep after the wicked Fairy Magnificent casts a terrible curse. Can the awkward but brave Prince Harold, the ever-silly Milly, and the fabulous Nurse Nelly save the day? With a sprinkle of help from Fairy Extravagant (and plenty of audience participation), anything is possible!

The Habbit Factory launched its pantomime project in 2017 after many members and families said they struggled to access local theatre due to financial, travel, or accessibility barriers.

Since then, the project has grown into a much-loved community celebration, with five fully relaxed performances each year. It continues to showcase local talent while making theatre accessible to everyone.
