Award Winning Takeaway ‘The Fat Pizza’ Thanks Elm Park Community With £1 Pizza Giveaway.

Elm Park residents are in for a real treat this Saturday 13 September as The Fat Pizza, crowned Best Takeaway in Havering 2024, is saying a huge “thank you” to the local community with a special giveaway event.

This Saturday, from outside their shop on Elm Parade, Elm Park, the team will be serving up a staggering 500 fresh pizzas for just £1 each.

Owner Ripu Chhina told the Havering Daily:

“We’ve had so much support from the Elm Park community over the years, and especially since winning Best Takeaway in Havering last year. We know times are tough at the moment – with the cost of living rising and parents spending heavily on school uniforms and supplies, so we wanted to do something to give back. This is our way of saying thank you.”

The event promises to bring families, friends and food lovers together, with the irresistible smell of freshly baked pizza filling Elm Parade. Locals are encouraged to arrive early – once the 500 pizzas are gone, they’re gone!

The Fat Pizza is famous for its giant 24-inch creations, indulgent toppings, and community spirit, with branches popping up across the UK. But for a local havering family, the elm park branch always stays close to heart.
