Lumiere Cinema in Romford will host an exclusive live Q&A session with acclaimed actor-turned-director Joseph Millson and star David Ganly following the premiere screening of their new film, Signs of Life. The special event is scheduled for tonight, Friday, September 5, 2025, at 6:30 PM, coinciding with the film’s national release.

Signs of Life is a poignant and beautifully crafted drama that follows a woman’s soul-searching journey from the United Kingdom to the stark, volcanic landscapes of Lanzarote. Haunted by a recent, unsettling event in her past, she seeks solace 1,000 miles from home. In the island’s quiet solitude, she discovers an unexpected connection with another person, realising she is not as alone in her grief as she believed.

Hailed as a pure and innocent drama with echoes of Sofia Coppola’s Lost in Translation, the film masterfully balances moving, heartfelt drama with moments of surprising wit.
