Havering Resident To Take On The London Marathon To Raise Funds For Alzheimer’s Research.

Next year, Havering resident Clare, is taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon in support of Alzheimer’s Research UK, a cause very close to her heart, as her dad has recently been diagnosed with the condition.

Alongside running the marathon, Clare is organising a Charity Night at The Wheatsheaf Pub, Romford, on 13th September to help raise vital funds. The evening will include a DJ, a performance from Elite Irish Dance, raffles, auctions and much more.

Clare told the Havering Daily: “I would love to encourage our community to come together for this important cause, and I am also reaching out to any local businesses who may wish to support by donating a prize for the raffle or auction. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference.”
