New Business Offering Rooms For Hire Opens In Rainham.
Rainham’s community has welcomed a brand-new business hub, as the District Business Centre officially opened its doors yesterday evening on the site of the old Barclays bank in the town’s shopping centre.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was carried out by Havering’s Mayor, Councillor Sue Ospreay, who was joined by a crowd of well-wishers and local councillors Graham Williamson, Jackie McArdle, Trevor McKeever, and Matt Stanton.
Owner Naz Ghuznavi hopes the District Business Centre will meet a growing need for versatile, affordable spaces in the local area. Whether for businesses, clubs, or community groups, he believes there is a room to suit every requirement — large or small.
Councillor Graham Williamson, Cabinet Lead for Economic Development, praised the venture, saying: “There is only a limited number of rooms for hire in the area and much of that is booked out. I am delighted to welcome DBC to Rainham.”
The District Business Centre is located at 29–31 Upminster Road South, Rainham. Anyone interested in hiring a room can call 01708 555900 or visit dbcrainham.com/spacehire.
