A local stage school has reached the finals of the World Dance Cup competition being held in Spain. Harold Hill’s Starshine Stage School dance group who competed in the World Dance Cup competition on Thursday in Burgos, last week, have made it to the finals!

The team practice regularly at Myplace in Dagnam Park Drive and this is the first time they have entered a team in the competition. They got through the preliminary rounds to be selected to go through to finals.

Performers were joined by local Councillor Paul McGeary, who presented them with a donation to help the team with their travel expenses.

Mears, the local construction company, very kindly donated £1,000.00 toward the team’s expenses to assist them getting to the finals in Spain.

Well done to everyone involved and we wish you all the best in the final!
