Families are in for a treat this weekend as The Mercury Shopping Centre hosts KidzFest, a free, fun-filled event designed to kick off the summer holidays in style.

Taking place on Saturday, 19th July, from 11am to 3pm, KidzFest promises a vibrant mix of hands-on activities, live entertainment, and creative workshops for children of all ages. The event will be held across Level One and Level Two of the centre and is completely free to attend.

Shoppers can expect an exciting lineup of interactive stations, including Lego building zones, craft-making tables, and musical instrument try-outs. Children can also explore their adventurous side with Kung Fu taster sessions, enjoy a fruit kebab workshop hosted by Excel Kids Play and Care, and join in the fun at Marvin’s Club.

There’s also plenty of entertainment on the day: facepaintingwill run from 12pm to 1pm, and the crowd-favourite Ricknroll Magic Show will take the stage from 1pm to 2pm, delighting families with illusions, tricks, and laughter.
