Major Grass Fire Breaks Out in Dagenham — 125 Firefighters on Scene
Twenty fire engines and around 125 firefighters have been deployed to tackle a significant grass fire that broke out this evening in Beam Parklands, Dagenham.
The London Fire Brigade confirmed the large-scale response via a social media post at 7:26pm on Monday 14 July, stating crews were on-site dealing with the incident. The cause of the blaze is not yet known, and investigations are expected to follow once the area is made safe.

Beam Parklands is a nature reserve located between Dagenham and Rainham, popular with walkers, cyclists and families.
It’s not yet clear how much of the area has been affected, however, we have received reports on social media of houses possible on fire.
Residents are advised to stay clear of the area and keep windows and doors shut due to smoke inhalation risk.
More information is expected to follow from emergency services later this evening.
