Havering Raises Armed Forces Flag In Preparation For Special Parade.

Havering veterans, joined the Member of Parliament for Romford-Andrew Rosindell, Havering’s Mayor, Councillor Sue Ospreay, local councillors and pupils from Hylands Primary School in Hornchurch as it raised the Armed Forces Flag in honour of all those who served and are still serving outside the Town Hall.

On Monday 23 June, our flag bearers stood proudly alongside our Mayor, as she read a special tribute to all our Armed Forces personnel.

Pupils from Hylands Primary School also joined the special event and were then meeting the Mayor, in a trip organised by their local ward St Alban’s Ward Councillor Judith Holt.

A special Armed Forces Day parade will take place on Saturday in Romford.
