Man Taken To Hospital After Being Shot Multiple Times In Dagenham.
A man in his 30s was rushed to hospital after being shot in Dagenham in the early hours of this morning. The incident happened on Selinas Lane just after 3.30 am following reports of disturbance.
A large group of people had gathered in the area, which dispersed as officers arrived. It was then that a man was found suffering gun shot wounds.
A woman in her 30s was also taken to hospital suffering with head injuries.
A crime scene is currently in place as police carry out their investigations.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at 03:32 on Monday, 23 June to reports of a disturbance on Selinas Lane, Dagenham.
Officers attended and a large group were dispersing from the area. They discovered a man in his 30s suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A woman in her 30s was also taken to hospital suffering non-life threatening head injuries.
A crime scene has been established and enquiries are ongoing. There have been no arrests at this stage.”
