Fantastic Animal Rescue Charity Pippa’s Army In Desperate need Of Help.

Across Havering and Essex we are very fortunate to have Pippa’s Army, a team of ladies who volunteer-day and night to help any animals lost, abandoned, or injured. These ladies do a truly remarkable job across the area. They are literally life savers and have rescued and supported so many animals from cats and dogs, to anyone who comes their way.

Now this charity is in urgent need of help. It is our turn as a community to please step in and support them.

Lately it’s been bad, really bad.. financially/ mentally we are drained. Adoptions are slow and the injuries are high, in a week we’ve taken in a kitten with a long term broken leg that had to be amputated, a cat with an injury to his tail that it actually fell off and had the rest was amputated, and young cat that gave birth in a kitchen cupboard that one of the volunteers had to rescue the kittens from the placenta, that’s a week. There are more stories for the past month I can tell you about but I don’t have space. We are getting asked more to help neuter, we will never say no but we are running fast out of money. . We are paying out more and more and little funds coming in to even out the balance.

We have the £1 a month advertised that helps so much but we need more regular funding. We didn’t win the lottery last week so unfortunately we have the begging bowl out.

Even if you can’t help financially please share our cats get them a home they deserve it more than ever.
