The loss of Rabbi Lee Sunderland was felt by the entire Havering Community. Rabbi Lee, sadly passed away last year and his passing left a big hole in Havering’s community. He was a man who was respected by all, a man who left a lasting memory of peace in this borough.

On Sunday 18 May, a special stone setting event will take place at Waltham Abbey Jewish Cemetery-3.30pm, followed by a Kiddush at Romford Shull.

Rabbi Lee was there not just for his community, but for all who reached out to him for help. He brought peace and support to all he met. He really was a true community champion.

Everyone is welcome to attend this special event.
