Two Hospitalised After Double Stabbing in Harold Hill

Two young men were taken to hospital following a double stabbing in Harold Hill on Monday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Coltsfoot Path at around 12.50pm on April 21, where they found a 20-year-old man with stab wounds. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. His injuries were later assessed as non-life threatening.

Shortly after, a second victim, aged 19, was discovered nearby in Lavender Close. He was also taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Both incidents are believed to have occurred inside an address on Briar Road, which connects the two locations.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and is currently in police custody.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police told the Havering Daily:
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to Coltsfoot Path, Romford, at around 12:48hrs on Monday, 21 April to reports of a man with stab wounds.

A 20-year-old man has been taken to hospital, his injuries are neither life-threatening or life-changing.

A man (age awaits) was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has been taken into custody.”

Shortly afterwards officers were alerted by the LAS to a second victim nearby in Lavender Close, Romford.

A 19-year-old man was also taken to hospital. His injuries are neither life-threatening nor life-changing.

The two incidents are being linked at this stage and are believed to have taken place inside an address in Briar Road, Romford.”

Police are urging any witnesses or anyone with information to call 101, quoting reference CAD 2951/21Apr.
