BREAKING: Woman Detained Outside Rainham School After Brandishing Knife And Scissors.

A woman has been detained under the Mental Health Act after brandishing a knife and scissors outside a secondary school in Rainham.

The incident happened just before 3pm on Ford Lane as parents reported seeing a woman with a knife.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at 14:50 on Tuesday, 25 March to reports of a woman alleged to be in possession of a knife and scissors in Ford Lane, Rainham.

Officers attended and detained the woman nearby.

She was subsequently detained under the Mental Health Act and was taken to hospital.”
