Local Dance Academy Seeks Support to Represent UK in Las Vegas
A talented group of young dancers is set to represent the UK on an international stage, but they need the community’s support to get there.
Elevation Performance Academy, based in Rainham and Dagenham, has been invited to compete in the prestigious National Entertainment Awards 2026 in Las Vegas.
Having won the title of ‘Best Dance School in the South East,’ the academy has earned the chance to showcase its talent in front of a global audience.
A team of 20 dedicated dancers, including local performer Jessica, will perform two spectacular routines and compete for several awards.
However, the cost of attending such a high-profile event is significant. The entry fee alone is £175 per child, and additional expenses such as flights, accommodation, and new costumes add to the challenge.
To ensure that every child can take part, the academy has launched a fundraising campaign with the goal of covering these costs.
Kelly Robinson and Coral Ironside, directors of Elevation Performance Academy, are reaching out to local businesses and individuals for sponsorship and donations.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these children, and we don’t want financial barriers to hold them back. We’re calling on the community to help us make their dreams a reality,” they said.
Sponsorship packages are available, offering promotional opportunities for businesses, including advertising in the academy’s show programme, social media exposure, and complimentary tickets to their January 2026 showcase.
For those who would like to contribute directly, a GoFundMe page has been set up at https://www.gofundme.com/f/get-team-epa-to-vegas.
With strong ties to the local area, Elevation Performance Academy hopes the community will rally behind their young dancers as they prepare to take the world stage.
