Rainham Resident Urges Men To Get Their Prostate Checked Before It Is Too Late.
John is raising money for cancer after been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has sadly now spread across his body. He is urging men to go to the GP and get it checked through a harmless blood test, before it spreads and becomes too difficult to treat.
John told the Havering Daily: “I was a fit and healthy man, i did boxing twice a week, went swimming and had no signs or symptoms.
“I heard it mentioned on Talk Sport and thought I better go and get it checked. If I had it checked earlier, it could have been treatable. I really urge all men out there to go and get a blood test done.
“Mine sadly had spread and now, I can barely walk or some days even get out of bed. This is why it is so important you get your prostate checked.”
