Romford Residents Angry As Household Waste Dumped On Streets And Even Thrown Onto People’s Premises.
Residents living on Crow Lane or nearby roads have hit out at the unacceptable fly tipping in the area including lazy newcomers who deem it acceptable to chuck their rubbish onto other people’s premises.
Tracey, who works with the local HRA team, told the Havering Daily:
“We are lucky that we have a reliable weekly waste collection service in Havering, not like some boroughs where collections are fortnightly so there is no excuse to dump household waste on the pavement. Sadly so people believe it is acceptable to leave their rubbish on the pavement or throw black household waste bags into other peoples premises.
Unfortunately, some people think is acceptable to throw their household rubbish over the fence into Crowlands Golf course, leaving our area looking like we live next to a landfill site, this has been going on for many months now, this rubbish has encouraged animals such as rats.”

Residents living in the area have reported endless fly tipping, including mattresses that are being moved outside different properties as they are illegally dumped!
Tracey finished:
“I personally have reported six incidents of fly tipping in Crow Lane this past month and I regularly litter pick in my area because I take pride in where I live, its a pity some people do not feel the same. If you see anyone illegally fly tipping please report them them on line at Havering.gov.uk<http://Havering.gov.uk>, The fine for fly tipping in Havering is £400.
