Havering Council’s Deputy Leader Councillor Gillian Ford has shared exciting updates about Havering Live Well, a new initiative aimed at supporting residents’ health and wellbeing.

We all need help at some point in our lives, and our health and wellbeing are no exceptions,” said Councillor Ford, Co-Chair of the Havering Place Based Partnership and Chair of Havering’s Health and Wellbeing Board.

I’m delighted to share details about the amazing partnership work that is taking place.

A key part of this initiative is the newly launched Havering Live Well booklet, now available in GP surgeries, libraries, and online. It provides information on organisations that can assist with maintaining a Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, Healthy Money, and Healthy Home.

Additionally, the Live Well Joy App has been introduced, offering access to over 600 organisations, including referral and contact details. While currently available for professionals, it will soon be open to the public.

A Live Well website is also in development, designed to be a central hub for wellbeing advice and information.

I’d like to say a huge thank you to all partners from NELFT, BHRUT, GP Network, HealthWatch Havering, the care sector, voluntary sector, and community sector for their continued collaboration in supporting Havering residents,” Councillor Ford added.
