Why Police Officers Now Have To Pass An Audition To Meet The Need Of So Called ‘Auditors’.
Police Auditors-the latest fad to hit police officers as they go about their duty.
According to google, police auditors are -individuals who film police interactions in public places to educate the public about police conduct . They use laws that allow filming in public spaces without permission.
Educate the public about their conduct. So far this has been very dull social media footage revealing on an auditor doing their incredibly best to wind up police officers across the capital and being met with the same reaction one would have when opening an oven and finding your Sunday Yorkshire pud remained as flat as the latest speech by a politician.
Officers across London are being filmed, which is nothing new, actually its expected. But now, the cherry on the cake is the fact that you could at any stage be met with an ‘auditor’.
Being accountable for your actions is needed across the policing system. What is not needed is an individual taking up long periods of time filming an officer standing at a scene and asking him the same questions repeatedly and ultimately, needlessly.
These social media clips do not reveal police brutality, however, what they do reveal is just how dull and lacklustre so many of these auditors really are. Their interactions are dull, their questions worse and they fail to reveal any interesting information. Most officers react with the same interest shown by a football fan sitting down to watch a cup final and being met with the an episode of Home and Away.
Officers are thin on the ground and stretched in regards to their time and work pressures. They are used to facing hostility in many different forms. Now, they have the added pressure of being met with auditors firing questions trying to trip them up at every corner.
Perhaps officers can now add another training package to their never ending list and spend time with actors who can professionally teach them how to deal with auditors who do their best to try and intimidate them and make them look foolish.
Being accountable is important. If you believe something is incorrect, challenge it, but do not set about to try and make an officer look foolish, as so far all this has resulted in is actually the exact opposite, especially when demanding to be called Sir!
Knife wielding gangs, rapists, domestic violence victims, mental health concerns, sudden deaths, each police officer may well have faced one or more of the above situations on their shift, a situation that we hope you in your life time standing their ready to film, will never face-Sir.
Wouldn’t it be nice if officers could respond with-you are now dismissed sir, go about your business!

Nice Hit piece wont work. There should be WAY more auditors & exposing incompetent police. if there were no Auditors these cops would get away with power abuse at every corner. Just look at any auditor & see how pathetic the Force is.
