BREAKING: Armed Police In Harold Hill After Man Assaulted With An Axe.
Armed Police were seen in on Leyburn Road, Harold Hill following reports of a man in his 20s assaulted with an axe. The incident took place at 4pm as police attended the Harold Hill address.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:
“Around 16:00 on Tuesday, 11 February, police – supported by armed officers – attended an address in Leyburn Road, Romford, following reports that a man was assaulted with an axe.
The man, in his 20s, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
No arrests have been made at this stage, and enquiries continue. It is believed that all parties are known to each-other, and that this was an isolated incident.
