The Member of Parliament for Romford-Andrew Rosindell yesterday, Monday 10 February visited Hornchurch High School. The MP had the chance to meet pupils and talk about the work his parliamentary work.

Mr Rosindell told the Havering Daily: “It was a brilliant morning visiting Hornchurch High School yesterday.  Wonderful to be able to address the Year 9 Assembly about my work as Member of Parliament for Romford (which includes a large area of Hornchurch, where the school is located) and take part in a Q&A with students on a wide range of topics, both local and national.”

At the special visit, Mr Rosindell was also able to present the school with a portrait of His Majesty The King.

“This is a school that is making great progress and my heartfelt thanks go to the Headteacher and staff for their dedication and hard work to give local children the best possible educational opportunities for their future.  

“I was also proud to be able to present the school with a portrait of His Majesty The King, inscribed personally to Hornchurch High School.”
