Councillors and Mayor Visit The Palms Hotel as Revitalisation Work Continues
Havering councillors and the Mayor were recently invited to tour The Palms Hotel to see first-hand the progress being made to transform the venue into a top destination once again.
During the visit, hotel directors Suresh Konduru and Abdul Shahul guided Cabinet members and the Mayor through the hotel’s upgraded facilities, including a variety of refurbished rooms, event spaces, and their beautiful restaurant/event space, the Plaza Lounge.

They were also shown areas currently under development, with plans to expand event spaces and increase parking capacity to accommodate larger gatherings.

The hotels Head Chef greeted the visitors and presented a sample menu, giving councillors a taste of the culinary experience on offer at the revitalised venue.

The Palms Hotel has already begun hosting successful events and party nights, aiming to bring back its former glory as a hub for entertainment.
Many residents will fondly recall attending Palms discos in years past, and in a nostalgic nod, the hotel has even tracked down its original DJ to host some of these nights.
The efforts to modernise and expand the hotel aim to re-establish The Palms as a must-visit venue in the borough, offering both locals and visitors a place to enjoy events, dining, and celebrations in style.
