Romford Police Station Front Counter To Close For Essential Maintenance Works.

Hornchurch police station front counter to be used during this time.

Due to essential maintenance and improvement works, the front counter at Romford Police Station will be closed to the public from Friday 17 January and will reopen in May 2025.

During this period of time the front counter at Hornchurch Police Station will be open instead. This will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide the same service that the front counter at Romford currently offers to the public.

 A spokesperson for Havering Police told the Havering Daily: “It is vital that we maintain this service and our residents are not left to travel to a neighbouring borough.

 “All other functions at Romford Police station remain unaffected, including officers working at the location and the custody suite.

 “I would like to thank residents for their patience whilst these improvement works are taking place and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. For those unable to attend Hornchurch Police Station you can still contact us via 101, or 999 in an emergency, as well as reporting incidents to us online atwww.met.police.uk “
