Elm Park Residents’ Anger As Much Loved Newsagent Robbed.

A newsagent on St Nicholas Avenue, Elm Park was robbed yesterday morning. The couple who own the shop have been there for many years and are very much loved and respected by their local community, who have been left shocked and angered by this awful attack.

The incident is believed to have taken place in the morning, as locals saw police and other emergency service vehicles attend the store.

A crime scene was put in place with police tape outside the newsagents just after 10 am yesterday.

It is believed the shop owner-Harry is okay.

The Havering Daily has contacted the police for further information.
