London News: Officers’ Bravery Rushing In To Save Man Who Set Himself On Fire.
On Friday 13 December, police were called to a domestic disturbance on North Road, N7. When the two response officers attended the scene, they found a man in the street who had set himself on fire. Officers and members of the public rushed in to put out the flames,despite the man’s resistance.
The man was taken to hospital and his condition is not life threatening or life changing.
The officers and members of the public who rushed in to put out the blaze deserve endless praise for saving this person’s life.
This was a truly shocking scene for anyone who witnessed the awful incident. The man stood on fire, clearly burning as the officers and members of the public did their best to save his life.
There has been very little coverage of this incident and even less praise for the bravery of the two officers and members of the public.
Well done to all involved, you saved this person’s life, without little regards for your own safety. One officer was taken to hospital for burns.
