Acting Chief Inspector Charlie Routley told the Havering Daily: “Cannabis factory’s in residential premises, such as this one, pose a real risk to the public. More often than not the electrics are dangerously bypassed or overloaded which can lead to increased risks of fire. My officers have not only removed this danger but also recovered a large quantity of drugs which were destined to be supplied on the streets of Havering. We are working hard to disrupt organised crime groups in Havering and this is a prime example of our efforts deal with drugs supply and the associated anti social behaviour and other crimes linked to drugs.
