Dagenham and Rainham MP supports RSPCA Campaign asking residents to be kind to animals during the firework season.
Margaret Mullane MP has given her support to the RSPCA campaign to think about and be kind to pets during the firework season.
Margaret told the Havering Daily: “I am passionate about animal health and welfare and that’s why I support the RSPCA’s campaign to protect our animals during firework season. As a cat owner I know how terrified pets can be around this time of year with sudden flashes and loud noises.
I want people to enjoy firework displays but I also want people to be considerate and safe. Dagenham and Rainham has so many families with pets and Britain is a nation that loves animals. So I’m supporting the @RSPCA Official who is calling on the nation to make one change and be a #KindSparkthis firework season. They recently conducted some research ahead of this year’s firework season and discovered that 55% of pet and livestock owners dread this time of year because of the impact that fireworks have on their animals.”
