Collier Row residents and local businesses to put on Christmas event for the community.
Despite Havering’s Bah Humbug Christmas cancellations across the borough this year, Collier Row has stepped up to still provide fantastic events for its local community.
The special festive celebrations will even include a Father Christmas Grotto for children to visit!
The Christmas event will go ahead as planned but obviously without the tree, as that is normally provided for by Havering Council on the roundabout and the High Street lights due to the Council cuts.
The event the Collier Row team organise yearly will take place on Friday 6 December 4pm till 8pm.
The event will host:
Sticker stations are Keys & Lee, Keystones, Samantha’s Flowers, Zara Curtains, Darjeeling Tandoori,
North Romford Community Centre and the Ascension Church. Various stalls in the High street and the Community Centre,
Free of charge Childrens fairground rides in the Service Road.
Wellgate farm in the grounds of the Ascention Church.
Reindeer pen outside Keys & Lee.
Free Face painting in the Ascension Church and Scooperb ice cream parlour,
Free children’s arts and crafts in North Romford Community Centre and the Ascension Church.
The children will have the chance to pick up a pre printed map and visit the listed businesses on the map to obtain a sticker when all 7 stickers are collected along the route they then pop along to the amazing Grotto in Chigwell Window Centre to see Santa and get a free present.
