Please see exciting news below from Hopefield Animal Sanctuary.

The rest of 2024 is set to be packed with family fun at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary in Essex – home to over 600 previously unwanted or neglected animals, birds and reptiles – and these are some of the main events we have lined up for the rest of the year:

28th Sept – Our annual Novelty Dog Show is set to be a pawsome day out with not just 10 classes for you and your pooch to enter, but bungee trampolines, inflatables, soft play bus, entertainment, shopping and more! 🐶

5th and 6th Oct – This Exotic Animal Weekend is your last chance this year to see ALL of our residents – including our meerkats, parrots, skunks, coatimundi, marmosets and more. An animal trail, sanctuary entry, inflatables, soft play bus and more will also be included in your ticket price. 🦨

26th Oct – 3rd Nov – Our Haunted Halloween Festival is happening this half term and includes a Halloween trick or treat trail, spooky crafts, Halloween character walkarounds, goody bag and a free pumpkin to be picked in our pumpkin barn for every paying child. 🎃

Weekends from 29th November – Santa is heading to Brentwood for our magical Christmas at Ho Ho Hopefield event, and we can’t wait to get busy with a miniature Xmas village, Xmas crafts, Santa’s grotto, a free mince pie and mulled wine for the grown ups, a free gingerbread man and hot squash for the children, and that all important visit with Santa including a special gift. This sold out last year so book early! 🎅

We also have plans in the pipeline for Drag Bingo, Xmas Wreath classes and more but we’ll provide details on those once the events are finalised.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give us when it comes to sharing these exciting events with your readers. We are entirely reliant on the public for support, and these events are vital to help bring in funds to help us continue our life-saving work.
