Excellent proactive work by officers sees multiple weapons seized from one vehicle.

Officers from East Area alongside the help of Met Taskforce officers undertook a pursuit last weekend that has resulted in an incredible amount of knives, machetes and baseball bats all being found and removed off our streets.

Officers sighted the vehicle driving erratically in Marks Gate. Funnily enough the vehicle failed to stop for officers and a police pursuit began. The pursuit continued into Dagenham where both the occupants of the vehicle were detained with the help of Police Dog Ludo.

Well done to East Area Proactive Officers and officers from the Met’s Taskforce for this excellent removal of weapons from our streets.
