BREAKING:Teenagers arrested on suspicion of affray after being found with a toy machete in Romford.
South Street by Romford station was temporarily closed yesterday as officers attended a call to reports of a person with a knife.
On their swift arrival officers located four teenagers in possession of a toy machete. All four were arrested on suspicion of affray and taken to an east London police station.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at 19:05 on Saturday, 21 September to reports of a person believed to be in possession of a knife at The Brewery in Romford.
Officers attended and located four teenagers with a toy machete. All four were arrested on suspicion of affray and taken to an east London police station.
There were no reported injuries.”
