Appeal for Donated Wool to Support Knitted Hearts Initiative

Residents of Barking, Dagenham, and Havering may have noticed an appeal on the Havering, Barking, and Dagenham Volunteer and Community News Facebook page, requesting knitted hearts. The initiative, aimed at creating comforting items for Queen’s Hospital, is being actively supported by the knitting group at Eastern Avenue Baptist Church, East Road, Chadwell Heath, Romford.

The group is currently busy crafting hearts and blankets for the hospital but is seeking donations of used wool to help continue their efforts. If you have any wool you no longer need, the group would greatly appreciate your contribution. Marilyn Wyatt from the Eastern Avenue Baptist Church is coordinating this appeal and is happy to arrange collection of any donated wool.
