13 year old arrested after being found with two knives as police investigate attempted robbery.

Police are currently investigating an attempted robbery on Hallbutt Street, Dagenham.

The incident happened at 15:49 hours on Monday 9th September, when police were called to a report of an attempted knifepoint robbery.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested nearby and two knives found.  He was arrested and bailed whilst the investigation continues.

The victim was safeguarded by officers whilst they located the suspect.
