Havering Council are inviting residents to put their best foot forward and get involved in the borough’s dance programme.

Staring later this month, the Havering Dance Classes for Adults ensures something for everyone, with genres including Latin and Ballroom, Popular Sequence and Modern Line Dancing – which brings the recent country craze to Havering.

All abilities are catered for, so whether you are an accomplished mover or just starting out, our expert tutors will ensure you have are kept moving in a fun social setting.

Sessions run from September 2024 until June 2025 taking place at both Sacred Heart of Mary’s School and New Windmill Hall in Upminster.

Classes are available in ten week blocks, with prices starting at £59.

Councillor Gillian Ford, Deputy Leader of Havering Council and Cabinet Member for Adults and Wellbeing, said:

“Havering Dance Classes for Adults will help residents to stay active and learn new skills or rekindle old skills, all while having a great time in the community.

“The dance programme creates a unique social environment and a great way to help physical and mental wellbeing”.
