Pensioner assaulted in Rainham car park taken to hospital with head injuries.
A man in his 70s was taken to hospital after being assaulted at Tesco Rainham car park. It is believed the poor pensioner was rammed with a vehicle following an altercation.
The pensioner was treated at the scene and has been taken to hospital with head injuries.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called to Tesco, Bridge Road, Rainham at around 10:38am on Friday 30 August, following reports that a man had been assaulted.
Officers and LAS attended and found a man in his 70’s with a head injury. He was treated at the scene before being taken to a local hospital where his condition is currently being assessed.
No arrests have been made at this time and this remains a live investigation.”
