Serial Havering shoplifter given Criminal Behaviour Order.
Thanks to the work of St Edwards and St Albans Safer Neighbourhood Teams, a prolific Romford shoplifter has been given a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
Ross Clark from Romford, was arrested on 23 August in relation to failing to appear at court. He subsequently appeared in court that day after where he was handed a three year CBO.
The CBO prevents Clark from entering the town centre within the Romford Ring Road, including the Mercury Mall, for that period of time. It also states that Clark is not to cause anti social behaviour, harassment, alarm and distress to anyone within the London Borough of Havering.
He was also given a suspended sentence so any breach of a CBO or other offence could result in him going to prison. The CBO also requires Clark to have positive engagements with drugs and alcohol support programmes.
Well done to our Safer Neighbourhood Teams involved and Havering Council’s community safety teams.
Ross Clark.
