A man in his 30s has been arrested following an incident on Newbury Road in Harold Hill. A 46 year old male was treated at the scene and then taken to hospital after being found with injuries.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called to Hilldene Avenue, junction with Newbury Road, Harold Hill at around 17:16 on Thursday 15 August, following reports that a man had been stabbed.

 Officers and LAS attended and found a man, aged 46, with injuries. He was treated at the scene before being taken to a local hospital where his condition was assessed as non-life threatening and non-life changing. 

 A man, aged 37, was arrested at the scene in connection with the incident.”

 A crime scene was opened at the time, and closed a short while later.

Enquiries are ongoing.
