Man found dead in Hornchurch.

A crime scene is currently in place after a man in his 50s was found unresponsive in Hornchurch just before 5am today.

A cordon is in place at the back of the Queen’s Theatre on North Street.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 04:57hrs on Tuesday, 16 July to reports of an unresponsive man on North Street, Hornchurch.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, the man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

Enquiries are ongoing in the circumstances of his death; at this stage it is being treated as unexpected.”
