This has been a memorable weekend for Havering residents who have had three days of fantastic festivals held at Harrow Lodge Park in Hornchurch.

Thanks to Ciaran White and his amazing volunteers from Havering Mind-the borough saw a 90s festival, a tribute festival and a family festival all held at the park.

Even the sun made an appearance to the festivals and the rain kept away after a miserable summer.

Friday’s acts including boy band East 17, Saturday saw tribute acts to Little Mix and Bon Jovi and Sunday saw fun for everyone.

Anti knife crime campaigner Sue Hedges from the Ricky Hayden Memorial was also present. Sue had the opportunity to share her heartbreaking story and talk about her on going battle to stop knife crime across London and Essex.

The weekend finished with the Essex Family Fest that had live music, live performers including the Romford Drum and Trumpet Corps, many stalls that proudly showed off their hand crafted merchandise and even Uncle Albert from Only Fools and Horses made an appearance!

A special stall dedicated to Men’s Mental Health was also present run by The Proper Blokes Club who do a fantastic job across Havering supporting men’s health.

It was three days of much needed fun and entertainment for Havering residents.

Well done to community champion Ciaran who does a truly fantastic job every year, his team of volunteers and even special dog Winnie who did a fabulous job patrolling!

Also a big shout out to Scott and Tammy and their team from JFF Security and Solutions who undertook the security task for all three events over the weekend.
